I really like your twin story! It is a perfect example of coherence principle because the pictures and text are well balanced. Moreover, the principle you have mentioned is mostly alike with mine. Expect I forgot the Signaling Principle.

Overall, your blog post shows Signaling Principle by bolding the text and Segmenting Principle by splitting sections. Although you have added a picture to show coherence principle, I wonder if choose a more related picture will be more helpful for reader.

The first thing I noticed is the fantastic Sketchnote. This is one of the best Sketchnote I have seen so far! Moreover, the overall blog is following the segment and coherence principle. The four principles that you have explained was a perfect match with what I wrote in the blog.

To be honest, there is not much I can improve. This is a perfect blog for Drawing and Sketchnoting. Again, I love the cookie recipe sketch!

I really enjoy the twin story you have created. It took me a few time to figure out all the scenes. I agreed that the Twin story followed Segmenting and Personalization principle . However, I wonder if it is also followed the coherence principle. Also I wonder if adding some visual images will help the reader focus because of the coherence principle

I think use Twine Story as an educational resource is a perfect idea. I talked about it in my post as well. Stories are easier to remember than facts

The game followed Contiguity Principle and Segmenting Principle.

The game did not follow Coherence Principle.

I think adding audio will be helpful due to the coherence principle.

Sketchnoting followed Signaling Principle and Modality Principle

Through the lens of multimedia learning, the dual-code theory and the cognitive load theory proves to be effective in the persuasive manner that Billy Graham approached his TED talk regarding the technology, faith and human shortcomings. The narrator applies the cognitive load theory on the basis that it improves the working memory of the audience listening to his talk. This is because a working memory is finite. It reveals that an overloaded working memory is bound to forget things due to the encoding and long-term storage in mental models. Hence, in Graham TED talk, the cognitive load theory was applied on the basis that humans can learn effectively by not using distracting materials. The stage was simple and directly focused on the narrator. One message per slide would be appropriate in that the presentation should only use information that the learner needs. Nevertheless, Billy’s TED talk displayed the use of a dual-code theory by merging the use of verbal and visual information to represent the right information that needs to be projected. According to Billy’s TED talk, he was able to vary the tone of his voice as he presented. He mainly captivated the audience by pausing at transitional points that clearly indicated when the narrator was moving to another important point that dictates the importance of the presentation.

Twin story is a perfect platform to create interactive stories. For my own story, the first principle that I can relate is Coherence Principle. I put the pictures, related to text, in each page. The pictures will coherence with text to help learner learn better. Another related principle is Learner control Principle. By giving reader control of the next and previous step buttons, reader can read text on their own pace.

Twin story gives learner control of their choice in the story. Therefore, I think it is perfect for educate minors. By choosing action on their own, they will learn the consequences of their actions.  Teaching them by stories are always easier to reason with them.
